主讲人简介：

Pierre Mercklé是法国里昂高等师范学院社会学系副教授，研究兴趣包括文化社会学、社会网络分析以及社会科学历史。自1995年以来，他在马克斯韦伯中心的“文化，规定，权力，社会化”团队下组织了相关研究。2003年至今，在法国文化部门管理协助下，对青少年文化参与状况进行了大规模的深度调查。Pierre教授通过一系列学术活动致力于不断推进社会科学的普及，2001年创办了Liens Socio网页，该网页成为法国及其他法语国家获取社会科学有效信息的重要来源。

讲座内容简介

社会网络和文化参与的研究在过去30年都取得了很大的进展。然而，自从布迪厄（Pierre Bourdieu）错失了机会（他发明了“社会资本”却低估了其在文化参与上的作用），对于文化社会学与社会网络（Social Network analysis）研究之间的启发性结合就鲜有人问津。本讲座意在对这两个领域中最近的理论与方法上的进展进行概括的梳理，并探索被研究者忽视的两者间关系。

Social Networks and Cultural Participation

Cultural participation and social networks: both research domains have seen major developments over the last thirty years. Yet, since Pierre Bourdieu’s missed opportunity (he invented “social capital” but thereafter underestimated its effectiveness in shaping cultural participation), there has been insufficient attention to the potentially heuristic articulation between sociology of culture and social network analysis (SNA). This conference is intended to offer an overview of recent theoretical and methodological advances in both fields, and to help exploring the underinvestigated relationship between cultural participation and social networks.
